Evacuation map

I received an email with a photo of an old schematic floor plan of an apartment building. They want to make this into an evacuation plan that can be posted on the walls. Is there an easy way to do this? I can't imagine the time involved in trying to redraw this. Thanks for your suggestions.

if you want it to look good you really do have to redesign it, it can be a can of worms. especially if the building is big. you can always try scanning the plans in and see if u can get away with some red lines and arrows though

I've made and recreated many of these. Key is to keep them fairly simple....not too detailed. Major hallways, entrance, exits, etc. We usually make these as backlaid acrylics. Final print mirror image on clear vinyl, backed with white vinyl, and mounted to back of 1/4" acrylic. Then they can VHB to walls.
