F@#&$^ up Fridays.

Soooo glad this didn't mess up a printhead. Came in to check the printer. The printer hit a splice tab on the side of the roll and started doing this. But since it kept going and the prints look good. Were gonna keep rolling. Woo hoo.

Sorry Dude, that sucks.

I had a banner that I thought I had loaded correctly, but it wasn't and drifted, ended up bunching
and the printer for some reason kept trying to print. This was about a month ago and I have
been printing with just one head since.:Oops::Oops:

Yep happens. I just have to wait till the printer is done printing. As the chunk that is missing is sitting in the printing zone about 2" from where the carriage stops and returns. When it's done printing it's going to run all the way to the other side and shove it into the side cabinet.

Oh man! Congratulations on the head not being damaged!

It wasn't today but one of my biggest mess ups was working on a machine early on in my career before I was trained properly. I didn't take a picture of some cables I had to replace before I took them out and ended up putting them in backwards. Turned the machine on and sparks started flying. Of course we picked up the repair costs for the customer and didn't charge for the service call but boy did I feel like a jerk. Some lessons you have to learn the hard way :banghead:

So when I tell you on these help posts to double check your cables, it's not because I think you're stupid, it's from personal experience!
