Fade on Arched text

Is there any way to add a fade to arched text. When I distort the text the fade stays straight and won't bend with the distortion.

offhand i'd say use a radial fade instead of a linear fade...

but what program are you using?

This was recently discussed in another thread only
using corelDRAW. What works best for me is to break
apart the text so that each letter has its own gradient.
You can then adjust the angle of the fill for each letter.
Most of the time it will work to combine 2 or 3 letters
to make this faster.
