fade problem

I am trying to fade a dark blue stripe to white and when the blue starts to fade it looks more purple going to white. Anyone know if this can be fixed.

We had the same issue and we fixed it by dropping the magenta channel completely from the graphic. It didn't change it an appreciable amount and if I remember correctly I think we set the desity to 0% in the RIP as well as a "just in case"

Sorry, I dont have profiles that far back.

tannaji is on track, go into your color adjustment curves and make and pull back the magenta (probably more in the middle, but you will have to play a bit).
