Falcon 2 Motherboard Replacement....couple questions

The World Is Never Enough
Hi all, some of you are aware of my situation...well, I bought a backup printer for parts. I have pulled the motherboard, cr board, head driver board, and put them in my printer. Im just waiting on 2 print heads now for everything to be complete. I have a few questions in the mean time for anyone out there that is familiar with the following:

1. I was unable to backup parameters do to the way everything happened. Im trying to figure out what all is saved on the HD and what all is on the actual memory stick on the Motherboard? Also, I have put in the memory stick that came on the new motherboard....should I take the old memory from the broken motherboard and install it on the new motherboard? Or, am I fine the way I am........is everything I need only on the hard drive?

2. Is there anything special that I need to do for the first startup?

3. Randy, this is for you.....the new motherboard/boards came from a water based printer, slightly different printer than my solvent printer...but still the same parts. My question is this....is there anything on the actual motherboard (or other boards) that I need to change...possibly any switches or voltage regulators....ect ect...anything that I need to change? Or can I just install as is?

Thanks for any help on this...I may actually be close to a resolution. The biggest lesson here for everyone....NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING WITH POWER ON :banghead:.......

The internal harddrive does not contain any backup parameters, it is storage for ripped prints.

The removable memory is a buffer for prints,
Parameters are stored on the motherboard itself.

There should not be any switches or anything to change.

Good luck!

Water based printer mainboard to be used on a solvent printer? You will need to load the correct firmware and the original printer parameters to this mainboard, not as simple as it seems.
