Falcon 220 cartridge problems

Is anyone else having problems with the recent 220 cartridges not knowing when the ink is low or empty? I'm getting real tired of throwing away prints when one color runs out in the last 6 inches of print.:frustrated:

I surely can't be the only one with these problems, can I?

There should be a little tab that pushes out when the cart is almost empty.

If the cart is empty and the tab not out, there is an issue.
If this is the case, take them back to the dealer and have them send them to Mutoh.

This is the case with all of them, I get them from Fellers, have told my rep repeatedly. Finally he said to report it to the main call center, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I have 4 of them setting here right now and I bet I threw away 6-8 that were also defective. Some of them will pop out after shaking/tapping on the sides and some will not no matter what you do. Either way it wastes ink and media every time it happens, and that gets expensive for a small shop such as myself.

Yes, I had the same problem...NOT a good time when a 15' banner is about 12" from being done.

I was told Mutoh had changed manufacturers of the ink for the Falcon Outdoor but the ink for the Value Jets are the same Ink as the old Falcons.

If you get the ink for the new Value Jets your problem will be solved.

Just take the "Credit Card off the cartridge and replace it with an old mylar sticker from the Falcon Ink.

And you are good to go.

PM me your printer serial# and contact info.
And I will have you send them back here.
