Falcon Outdoor Print / Feed Problem

our falcon outdoor has a problem with feeding the vinyl. the vinyl stutters and appears to be hung up and then the printer won't feed. has anyone encountered this before. I'm wondering if the print feed motor is going. any help would be appreciated

after analyzing it a bit more it appears the shaft is broken in the middle of the piece that gets tightened by the alan screws.
