Falconm Outdoor II not printing Lc

I noticed my colors have been off the past few days. So i did some ink test and seen the Lc is not printing. I took out the cartridge and realized it is bone dry, the printer never warned me it was running low or empty. I changed the cartridge, but still no Lc. What am I doing wrong, or is there a problem I am not seeing?
