favorite vehicle wrap

Looking for opinions on printed vehicle wrap materials. Avery, 3M, Arlon, or Orafol. Obviously, one product wouldn't be the best for everyone but which is the go to product that you'd most likely keep in stock? I'll be using it to print and install on fleet vehicles, watercraft, and leisure vehicles aka sports car and such.

I'm not a fan of economy grade product. It's been my experience that even the cheap *** customers expect nearly flawless results so I understand not to skimp on the quality of the vinyl. If the customer doesn't want to pay for the good stuff then I have to send them down the road because they'll never be happy.

I also prefer a vinyl that is more "friendly" to the installer and production guy even if that means a short life span of the graphic, to a point.

Sounds like Avery 1005EZ would work well for you. We don't do a ton of wraps anymore but we have hundreds of vehicles/trailers floating around and most were done with 1005 with very few issues. Very user friendly vinyl in my opinion.

I've been using IJ180cv3 for a long time, but as of late, I haven't been very happy with it. It's too aggressive, more so than in the past. The air release isn't working right, etc. I haven't changed anything in my methods, but 3m must have changed something. I don't know what. I think I'm going to try the Avery 1005 next time. I've used it before and was pretty happy with how it printed and installed.

avery

I am installing 144 sq of avery 900 series with the easy release air egree on Tuesday. It's cut vinyl for a basic graphic package, company logo and contact info. I think the largest character is about 30" tall on the side and back of a vacuum tanker. Not sure how the cut vinyl install will correlate with the avery wrap vinyl. I'll post the results once I'm done.
