FC7000-130 Y Position Alarm

I insert vinyl into my FC7000-130, I press ROLL-1 Front Set and then enter. Immediately the Pen Carriage Unit move 5 inches to the right and stops. Then the machine starts beeping and a Y position alarm signal pops up. Anyone with a fix it idea?

Replaced ribbon cable 3 years ago for that reason
just had to replace the pinch roller sensor so they do play up.

You can go in to service mode and check each sensor action.
The sensor that sets the right side is optical and mounted behind the right hand cover
