File dimensions change when exporting. Help?

Does anyone know why a file exported from one program to another would change in dimension. Example: Tif file is 47.692" long @ 300 dpi. Bring it into VersaCam and the file's dimension is reduced by nearly 3 percent.

Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I have no help for you, but I do have the same problem with vector art exporting it from coreldraw as a pdf file. I haven't been able to get an answer from anyone either.

Check export setting and see if there is a "fit to page" or scaling factor in one of the dialog boxes.

Also - make sure your artwork is zero origined if it is sign software.
