Flex face installation

I posted this in the premium section but didn't get any replies, so I'm reposting it here in hopes someone can help.
[h=2]I have a job coming up for a very good customer that involves replacing some digitally printed flex faces on some interior illuminated frames. I had a look at the signs they have and they look to be a SignPro system which uses a grey plastic "rope" type of fitting to secure the faces to the aluminum, my research online tells me this is called a "tension rod"[/h]

Luckily we will have the luxury of replacing the faces on a work table indoors, I was hoping someone could give me some pointers on the best practices to replace these faces. I have the new faces printed by a wholesale shop in the area, I added a 3" bleed all around the image.

Is there a special tool I should pick up to make install easier? should I order in more "tension rod" or can the existing stuff generally be reused?

Thanks!

If you are applying a translucent vinyl to the flex face just use rapid tac apply a good amount to the substrate and a good amount to the adhesive side of the graphic and squeegee from the center out even if it is big prints using rapid tac or wet slapping the graphics will make it fairly easy.

he's most likely asking about actually putting the flex face into the cabinet

We just installed these today, this perticular system installs like a bug screen in a window, you stretch the banner and use a metal roller to push in a rubber hose that locks in the material, it is a bit of a pain as it's difficult to put enough tension on the material, but in the end we made it work
