Flex face

Is there an easy / proper way to install a flex face? I've been starting top and bottom in the middle, then left and right in the middle just to get it in place, then I start to fill it in from the top and bottom middle outward to the edges.

Is that a good method?

I believe that's how we do it. If it's a square or rectangle, it's pretty easy to get the wrinkles out. Custom shapes get trickier.
