Flexi 12 on Parallels, USB dongle not working

Well, stupidly or not I went with FlexiSign upgrade. As I stated before, I am trying to run this on a Mac using Parallels/Windows 7. As I suspected the Key, or dongle, is not being "seen" by FlexiSign when I launch it.

I have tried to get the machine to recognize the USB dongle but there is always an exclamation mark next to the device icon.

Any thoughts on this other than I should've just bought a PC?

Do you have it setup in your virtualization software to pass USB devices(specifically the security device) to be seen by the guest OS?

If it isn't, I would see about doing that and I would also set it up to perpetually pass through that specific USB device to the guest every time you are running the Windows VM.

Make sure when you installed Flexi that you checked the box that says, "Sentinel Security Driver". If you didn't, you will have to go into the CD contents and run the Sentinel security driver setup program before it will recognize it. Make sure it isn't plugged in when you install the driver. If it works, the green light on the dongle should light up when you plug it in. Also, in Parallels there is usually a button at the bottom of the screen that allows you to say which USB ports should be allowed to work on which OS. Make sure that is setup correctly.

Called Flexi and they were pretty helpful. i had to do all the Windows updates and the Sentry thing and after it worked, on a Mac! Once I connected to cut it worked. I haven't got this setup into production yet but should be goo to go when I need it.
