Flexi 8.5, Favor To Ask...

Ok, I know this is going to sound kinda weird. Ok, here goes.

The reason I am asking for you to do this, is because I do not own Flexi 8.5, and would like to try the Mutoh Driver from the 8.5 to import into my 8.1 so I can have the true valuejet 1614 driver, instead of the 1604.

I have done this with my graphtec 8000 which was made for the 8.5 version only, and it worked.

So if you can do this, great! Thanks.

Go into C:\ Directory
2. Program Files
3. Flexi Sign
4. Output Drivers Folder
5. You should be able to see one called Mutoh or Mutoh 1614. That is the file I need! Let me know, and I will let you know if it works! They are CSM file extensions.

what does the 1614 driver have that the 1604 driver doesn't? As I understand they are the same driver (with a slight different #). I may be wrong, but that is what I was told.

Ok. Cool. But if it has a change in the number, I'm sure there has to be a difference. But if they are the same driver, I will use 1604. I figured it may have been some kind of update maybe with the speed/profiles/etc...

Thanks sean for the help! I guess the drivers must be the same as 1604. I have been running with 1604 with my flexi and works fine. Just re-formatted my computer and wanted to put the latest on it now that I am re-loading all my software.

I got umm 9 or 10 big machines packed in a place with 1800 sq feet
My old place I sold had like 30000 sq feet with maple hard wood flooring and like consisted of 5 buildings connected ha
But amazingly I manage to work around in there, I gotta take some pictures because people would get a kick out of it

The 1614 driver has the new firmware update that gives you 183 sq/ft per hour versus the 1604 which is 140 I believe.
