Flexi 8 Slow Opening

It takes forever for Flexi to open.
Instaed of deleting fonts, can I get rid of the adobe filters?
It seems these take forever to load, and I don't use this program for bitmap work.
Any input would be appreciated!

I think you can assign a different folder to look for plugins in preferences.
