You may have to upgrade your software to 8.6v2. The 8.5 release was made especially for Windows Vista OSs. One thing you need to investigate before you purchase the software upgrade is to determine if your laptop is running 32bit or 64bit Vista. Most manufacturers have released 64bit drivers for their machines... but only on the newer models. 32bit Vista is not a problem.

You need to connect it via a network cable (cat5e). Either to the network connection on the laptop or to a router. Then input the IP address when adding the printer in flexi.
