According tp the Corps of Engineers my house and farm are going to be under 8-10 feet of water next week, I am 7 miles from the river. Yes I said 7 miles!!! We are moving stuff out and have been hauling beans all day and have around 7,000 bush left to go. this is a link to the corp prjected river levels, we are about half way up the map right next to the edge, that is the bluff road..

7,000 only... we have 6 bins that hold 7,500 each and a quansite that holds 75,000 (it is up higher so not going to flood) my grandpa owns the quansite, he has corn in it.
Besides the point, I am moving into my shop to live!! We have an empty apartment so we are going to be apartment people moving in from the counrty, hope they are ready for the Mosh downtown Neb City!!! I brought all my guns and the T-Rex!!!

Good luck getting all your equipment up to higher ground.

It's to bad you can't just rent a BIG barge and have it delivered to the front of your shop, or parking lot, and anchor it to the building to keep it from floating away.

Load all you shop equipment, supplies, office, computers, everything onto the barge, then when the flood waters come, the barge will float and keep everything dry.

After the flood waters recede, and the barge is back on the ground, you can unload everything back into the shop.

Just a thought!

Wish I was closer, I would give you a hand.

Sorry that you are having to deal with this, no matter the outcome this just sucks. Sounds like you are a resourceful guy, you will be ok. Best of luck Mosh.

Very sorry to hear that Mosh, don't know what I could say to be helpful in a situation like this. Just hoping you and your family are safe and that it doesn't get as bad as they say it will.

Oh that is crazy! Sorry to hear about the flooding, I hope you have insurance, that has got to be a sick feeling knowing the house is going under, makes me sick to think about it. Good luck & hang in there.

Do they do anything to compensate you for the potential damage or overall loss you will sustaine from the flood waters???

It can't be good for your fields to be over saturated and it certainly isn't good for your home and all that.
