Font Genius, anyone use it?

I've done pretty well using whatthefont and the "suitcase fusion shuffle" to match existing typefaces in the past, but I've been recently researching software upgrades and came across "Font Genius" software (extensis) that's supposed to do the same thing as whatthefont, except it only matches fonts on your system to the .bmp of the text.... which isn't exactly a bad thing, considering how many fonts I've accumulated over the past two decades!

think its worth the $40 or should I be looking into other software instead to aid in this role?
(its also free if I upgrade my suitcase fusion, but I'd still be spending $ and I hate coming across better options after I've already made purchases)

i have about 90% success with whatfontis. It identifies the thousands of free fonts out there. Think about it, in order for the Font Genius software to be useful you would need to have every free font out there on your hard drive for it to work. If you use the Genius software and don't have the font on your system, then you revert to whatfontis anyway

Whatthefont is nice but it does not identify anything but the fonts that it has for sale. There are some free fonts at whatthefont but only a fraction. I get a 40% success rate at wtf. Before whatfontis I was frustrated with identifying the free fonts.

The only way I can see it being useful is if you didn't have an internet connection. Otherwise what does the Genius do that wfi cannot?
