Font ID: Classic truck font?

This is not the best looking font, but I'm guessing it's a spin-off of a classic truck font?!

Maybe some of you vintage car lovers will know. Any help is appreciated!

We're making a dimensional sign based on this logo, so even a similar font will help. Thanks!
