Font question...

[Kottwitz-Graphics]

I posted the following image up on What The Font.com and I got told that the font is Adobe Garamond Italic, and that brings the question up...

I have Garamond Italic, and it's close, but not right...

So is there really an Adobe font that is that much different?

Yes. All those damn Garamonds are different. Different set widths, serif sizes, etc. Makes it a real PITA

The Garamonds are so varied and numerous, they should be a class of type unto themselves...

Y'know... like Scripts, Serif, San-serif, Decorative, Grunge, and Garamonds...
