I paid good money for you to read this!
I had a pretty funny exchange with a "Live Help" person(?) from one of my main suppliers...
Welcome to Live Help, how are you today?

How may I help you?
Me: Hi, do you have an eco printable outdoor paper (or similar) that could be folded and stapled on u frames as yd signs? Need to last 1 month outside
[after about three minutes]
Poly Tuff-Out Fold Over Board
PolyTuff-Out Board 28inx44in 6ply
Me: That says “multicolor offset printing, screen printing and die cutting” I'm looking for eco-solvent printable
Nothing pre cut and scored.
Me: Don't need pre-cut OR scored.
Would you be able to laminate?
Me: Yes
Me: Heat assist laminator
We have lots of eco-solvent print material on rolls.
[?!?! Yes this is very true, that's why I needed help. At this point I started typing the response below starting with “*****”.
While I was typing she added the next 2 things, the 1st of which was obvious, the 2nd was astounding…]
You would have to cut to size.
Search digital print on our website. [This brings up about 800 items]
[Then she decided we were done...!]

Me: *****, I am looking for a cost-effective material that I can print with eco inks,
cut to size, fold and staple over u frames, stick in the ground,
and have them survive a month. I DON'T need digimag, wrap vinyl, trans
As you can see from the last response I was working on, I was just building up a good head of steam when she closed the chat! I actually laughed when it happened because she kind of got out of there just in time
So aside from all that fun, do you guys have an eco substrate that you use for short-term political signs? I know screen printing is a great option but this is for jobs like a 50pc full color (or a 15 pc full color for that matter!)
