Full INK Tank Error Falcon OUTDOOR

Hey guys, I have a 48 inch falcon outdoor. It has been a great workhorse for me and very easy and inexpensive to maintain and keep it running. However I have been having this problem about the waste ink tank sensor(I assume) It has been showing to check the waste tank... althought it is not full...and as soon as we send a job after another job it goes into cleaning cycle.... then it displays error message INK TANK FULL... we romove the tank.... and hit enter.... it doesn't change the message.... Is there a trick??? Because it used to say replace the tank when we remove the tank, then it asked if we did... then click yes... then went back to normal.
Now it does nothing...

ANY IDEAS???

Can't tell you specifics cause I am not at my machine, On the control panel of the printer under menue there is an option to tell the printer you emptied the waste ink. It is a yes or no anwer after you select yes it will go back to doing what it is supposed to. Sorry can't get more specific.
