Hi Folks,
We recenttly switched from Arlon SLX/3270 Gloss ro 3M 175C V3/8518 Gloss as our standard wrap materials. Whats everyones standard 3M pairing for vehicle wraps and trailer wraps.
Thanks

Neither of those material combinations are great for full on wraps. Arlon should use 3220 laminate, and 3m 175 nor 8518 are great for going into channels. That said, I use tons of slx+3270 for plotted trailer graphics. I've gotten further away from ij180 as the price creeps up and the versions keep changing, and I can't stand the finish on their laminates.

3M IJ280 for your print film, 3M 8528G for your laminate.

Both are pricey, but they are very thin and stay in.

8528G is also the most consistently glossy of the 3M wrap laminates.
The rest, as Mr. Burton suggested, can have hilariously random dull patches, often through the whole roll.
