getting a cyclone dust collector

nashvillesigns

Making America great, one sign at a time.
Hello!
i am going to get rid of my vacuum hooked up to the panel saw. While i am doing that, i have decided to run everything thru a system that collects dust.

Does anyone have any thoughts? i read an extensive website featuring Clearvue, but the pricing is out of my budget.

i am looking at the laguna series 2HP cyclone at the moment. it pulls 1450 cfm, which is about the 1000 cfm target range for small particles.

1.) what about metal shards? is this a problem for these types off machines?

2.) i would like to upgrade to a 4'x4' CNC router at some point. can 2HP at 220 single phase handle the job?

3.) what are some of the setups and lines you running in your shops?

thank you for all your time and attention!
