getting fine straight cuts on the top of my thumbs

This is driving me crazy...I seem to be getting these fine razor blade type cuts on the top of my thumbs for the past 5 or 6 weeks. I know it is coming from alumapanel. I never catch it happening and only discover it a short while later. They are like paper cuts but because they are on the thumbs it makes working extremley difficult and painful. Even typing on the keyboard hurts. I use liquid skin on the cuts and it sort of protects the cuts and allows me to feel less pain. anyone else getting these?

Nope. Wear gloves.

My fingers, hands and thumbs are dry right now, but that's from working out in the garden for the last few weeks in lotsa dirt and mud with the kinda dumb weather we've been having.
