Good Orange?

any 4 or 6 color process orange will be blah. only way to get a really good orange is cut vinyl, or pantone pigment on an offset press.

+1. forget it.

In saying that though, if you use a really bright white vinyl, you can get a pretty good orange... just need to play with your numbers a little to get it just right. No black, no cyan... just magenta and yellow... for the 'vibrance' you gotta rely on the white of your material, so it gotta be bright or else you're just wasting your time.

Bright white vinyl with Ditzler Organic Orange Toner sprayed with a Sharpe SG555D. Followed by Valspar AC4400 Urethane Clear.
When necessary I use the toners over white as the toners are semi-transparent.


This combo will sear your retinas.
