Quit buggin' me
Hi all,
I've been a little quiet, busy working into the Law Enforcement unfitting culture. It's a lot like the sign-making culture, just more flashy and noisy.
Now I have some actual sign work to get done and need to find a supplier of polycarb material. roughly 3'x4' or full 4x8 sheets I can cut to size.
It has to be around 4mm thick to fit into the existing retainer rails. Someone thought it was a good idea to put 5/32 tempered glass panels on roadside monolith price signs. The panels that are
shattering are at the bottom, about knee-high off the ground. Not sure what is breaking them (grass in the area is cut with string trimmers) but it might become a big issue.
I think stabilized polycarb might be a better choice. Our Home Depot only has .188 Lexan with 2 sided UV protection but I think that would be too thin and warp in the sun.
If there is a better alternative I'm listening.
