Google drops the serifs after 17 years

Google changed their logo and for the first time has dropped the serifs. What do you think? Childish?

I think he was referring more to the oksigns post. The top startch sprayed version is just the animation. The logo is the bottom one.

Right, I thought they were showing a kid drawing out the logo with chalk, then it being converted to a digital logo.

It's not just a new logo, but a step-forward into an ever-expanding corporate entity. (see "alphabet inc.")
