Graphtec 8600 stuck in Syncing

Help! My graphtec 8600 will not cut - I send a job through cutting master 3 in Illustrator and the status on the plotter is stuck on "Syncing"

I have never seen that before, maybe try restoring factory defaults if you havent. Hold down the up arrow about 1 second after turning the power button on. Are you connected via USB?
