Just thought I'd share some fine craftsmanship with you all! If you're looking for a very unique, one-of-a-kind gift for that hard to buy for person this year, check out my brothers work! I make no $$ by plugging him; I just find what he does very, very cool and had to share!
He is an iron artist and does anything from furniture to bracelets. Truly amazing to watch him work. Everything he does is hand-made and each piece is unique. He has sold his pieces all over the globe through is on-line stores. He gets nothing but excellent feedback and has a lot of happy, repeat customers!
Here are some pics showing a bracelet he made for my wife while we were visiting him (in Ontario) last weekend. The first pic shows how the final product progresses from a raw piece of stainless steel to a beautiful finished product. The process is amazing to watch from pounding the pattern in the stainless steel on the anvil to heating the finished product to achieve unique colors. It's truly amazing to see how applying heat to stainless steel brings out a rainbow of colors. The longer he heats it, the different the color. It is truly an art!
Hope you enjoy looking at the pics as much as I enjoyed watching the entire process! I've also posted a couple custom belt buckles he did for me for customers. If you're interested, let me know and I will post his website where you can purchase his work.
