Hello!

My old rockhopper has retiered, and now i got VJ-1604. I know it isnt new, but comparing to rockhopper it is a beast!

So, printer has some different habits.

I would like to know if:

1: i can turn off preheating... so it would start printing immedietly?
2: when it stops printng heaters or fans keep running, can i somehow disable that?

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
To skip pre-heating just hit menu and then enter. The printer will start printing and keep heating up as it goes.

The vacuum fans will stop after a while or if you unload the material. The CPU fan's will not stop unless the power is tuned off. The heaters can be turned off after printing by going to Menu>Setup>Media Type>Type X>StandbyHeat, Set this setting to off or 0. By turning this setting off, the printer will now have to heat up every time you send a print. You may want to set it to 10 minutes so that if you are sending multiple jobs, it doesn't have to re-heat every time.

for preheating i know that i can skip it with clicking on control panel, but i have to stand up and walk to the printer and click it... i thought there may be some shortcut...

ok, for standby heat i will try to set it to off...
