I figure if a decal can sit on the hood of a car and resist the heat of the sun than that would be considered heat resistant? If I laminate the decal would that be chemical resistant?

Depends on where the heat is coming from. Lexedge is not good for outdoor use. So if they are talking about sun heat then lexedge is not going to work. I would try to get a very clear understanding of the exact purpose of these stickers and why they need them a certain way. When someone asks me about heat stickers it is almost always something they want to put under the hood of their car. So it gets almost no sun exposure.

I've also seen Acrylic Capped Lexan to both withstand chemical and uv rays.
