From what I can tell this forum is outstanding.
My wife and I are looking to see if engraving wood is a good venture to jump into.
I am not an artist, and have never been in the sign business. I would like to start laser engraving to see if it could possibly produce some extra income in my retirement. I hope to retire in two to three years from a company I have been with for 31 years.
I am a woodworking enthusiast, impressed by the beautifully engraved art work that my wife and I have seen on display. I would like to try my hand in it.
So we thought this blog would be a good place to start in educating ourselves by gathering information from some of the experts.

Welcome to a outstanding forum and people.

Well since your already enjoying wood engraving will be a natural, finding the market, and learning the skills needed, with the right equipment don't hold back go for it.
