Hello from southern California

Just a few lines to introduce myself. My name is Sergio. I live and work in Tustin California, and I'm new to the sign industry, with no experience. I have a bachelor's in Multimedia design from the Art Institute of California, and I'm currently employed with phone company. I went to art school with the illusion that after graduation I was going to be able to quit the phone company and get a job in the design industry but I've never been able to find a job that would pay me more or at least the same as the phone company, so I stayed there. I have two cheap, chinese made vinyl cutters and though I have no experience, I would like to start a vinyl signs and decals business. Any suggestions would be really welcomed. Thank you very much in advance.

Welcome from a snowy Cape of Cod. Find a local sign shop for part time work/inturn/helper/student/whatever.

Greetings from Upland, the City of Gracious Living (and FBI raids on City Hall!)

Tustin is a great city build from the closing of the Marine Air Core Station right in the middle of the town. It is a great place to be in the OC.

Welcome!

Bonjour from Louisiana! I agree with BobM - find a shop to do an internship @, or part time work in production/design. The best way to learn = hands on, imo.
