all star signs

New Member
Everytime I try to import it into flexi10....flexi shuts down on its own. I downloaded a cdr file from brands of the world and I can't open it now. It's the Texas Ranger Ball for a little league banner. Can Someone help:banghead:

I hate to say it, but get used to it. Flexi absolutely sucks importing any file type! Especially when gradients & masks are used.

I don't use Corel that often but you can save it as a .cmx file in Corel and that will import into Flexi. I just had a customer give me a bunch of files done in Corel so I went on line and got the 30 day try out of Corel and changed all the files over to CMX and eps file and now they are ready for my use.

Yeah - CMX works well here too. But if it's from Brands of the World - is there a EPS or AI version to try? If so - try the EPS...Just a thought.

Try opening a Flexi file in Corel or Illustrator. You can't expect a software to open every proprietary file out there.

I routinely use Flexi to open ai, eps, and pdf files. Yes, there are issues sometimes (mostly with transparencies). But it is unfair to say Flexi sucks at importing any file type.

One of our suppliers that we use for clipart told me a cdr file needed to be opened with either corel or AI and then could be exported as an eps to use in flexi. I have had good success doing it this way. Works great if I want to change the text but keep the same look as in the clipart.
