help needed exchanging out printer mainboard

I got a new main board replacement for my Roland Cj-500, the old board is still in the printer and still have access to service mode. What I like to know is how to go about installing the new board,,, what are the steps I need to know about before and after installing the board..

Either printout all settings or use peck tool to pull them to laptop
