Help with Gerber Omega 4 and Corel x5

Hello every one

I am looking to see if anyone can help me out i use Corel Draw x5 and i am looking for the best way to export into Omega 4 I tryed a few with mix resaults so far the best is eps

Save the Corel Files as CMX.

Also on you CD their are Gerber Pallets for Corel.

is thare anyting else special i have to do when i export to cmx ??

If text it needs to be converted to curves. As far as I can tell there is no way to import text!

importing as cmx seems to be working better but i use the gerber spot colour profile in corel draw and it inports as cmyk ??

maybe export as eps, go to advanced in the export options and uncheck convert spot color to process?

Export from Corel as PDF. Corel's Spot color handling simpley sucks.

I have (not sure your using the same one) that replaces the userinks.cpl file with Gerber foil colors. It exposrt when using PDFs and imports fine.

If you want the file email and I'll send it to you with instructions - Monday.

Tony could you maybe send Fred the file along with instructions so he could post it up in the trip or Gerber forum for all who use Corel to have access?
