Help with profile in Versaworks 4

Recently purchased a Roland SC-545ex and am getting some grainy prints. I am using Oracal 3165G and the profile for the media downloaded from Oracal. When I print a measure page, the blacks look muddled. It's hard to explain, but at the 100% end, the black is not solid. Is this how it is supposed to be? When I print the ink limit check chart, the bottom rows look muddled as well. A test print looks fine.I've attached pics, but it is hard to get a good pic with the gloss and reflections of light. Where should I start with troubleshooting this?

could be either bad media, or the heat settings as mentioned. try it with something matte and see if it's the same.

How would I check the ink? They were brand new OEM Roland eco sol cartridges. The heat was set at around 40C. I don't have any matte material, but I did try it with a fresh roll of 3651G and got the same results. It seems like the black ink is taking forever to dry.

Where are the ink limits set in the media that you downloaded from Oracal (CMYK individual ink limits and total ink limit)?

Also, do you have a spectro to build a new Media Profile?
