Help Yikes!!

I just got finished cleaning my machine. When i selected to end the CR Maintenance the carragie drew back to the cap and made a loud noise and the enitre machine shut off. Now i can get it repowered??? I'm scared... HELP PLEASE.

OK i UNPLUGED THE POWER FOR 5 MIN AND REPLUG IT IN AND EVERYTHING FIRED UP. COULD ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHAT JUST HAPPEN. I HAVE PERFORMED CLEAN THIS SAME WAY MANY TIMES BEFORE. SORRY ABOUT CAPS LOCK..

We've had a similar problem, where the carriage crashed into the locking mechanism that keeps it over the capping station. It bent the lock, and we were unable to get the carriage back out. We bend it back and everything works fine now... Probably not the same problem, but maybe itll help...

I WAS THINKING THE PROBLEM MAY HAVE LIED WITH THE LOCKING MECH. It seems correct to me. Thanks for the help!!:U Rock:
