Magna Cum Laude - School of Hard Knocks
Suddenly today, I can not get a print to finish running through Flexi. It craps out at different times; sometimes 20%, sometimes 95%. And an error pops up saying something about Data error.
Running 10.5, to Latex 260. NEVER had any issues till this morning. No computer changes or updates, nothing changed from yesterday to today. I have rebooted and restarted everything, and still have this error. It seems the printer is just becoming disconnected from the Production Manager or something. Even switched the cables connecting to my router hub.
Any ideas? I have a TON to print today and have wasted all morning troubleshooting this.
I'm printing to my other printer just fine, so I have ruled out Production Manager basically. But IDK.

In Flexi, that data error usually occurs when the file is too large to save or export. As a fellow Flexi user, this happens a lot when I am dealing with extremely-high resolution photos or vector images with way too many filters, gradients, drop shadows, etc. I would suggest either reducing the resolution of the image or, if possible, flattening anything that has multiple layers of effects or gradients and giving it a go from there. If built to size, you should be able to reduce the resolution in Photoshop without pixelation.
Hope that helps!
