I just replaced my first high volume ink bag when the printer (1624) reported "M empty"
OK, so I pull the bag and replace, even though there is a very appreciable quantity of ink remaining in the "empty" bag.
As a reality check on the cost effectiveness of the high volume approach I opened the bag and poured out the remaining ink, which was about 2 full fluid cups!
At a cost discount of only about 20%, the logic seems dubious.
I would be tempted to run the bag further down next time, watching it closely.
Anyone have similar experiences or opinions about the efficacy of Mutoh's "High Volume" system?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
