Probably a dumb qusetion but exactly how do I insert a picture? Not really sure what it means by insert URL.

go advanced, click the paper clip

Probably a dumb qusetion but exactly how do I insert a picture? Not really sure what it means by insert URL.
You're clicking the insert image which should only be used if you have uploaded an image to our gallery. If you will, instead, click the Attachments icon (looks like a paper clip) you will then get a dialog that allows you to upload directly to the post from your hard drive.
Attachment is the was we would prefer members to put images in their posts.
