How do I print to a pdf or export from Production Manger with opus marks?

Lets be honest here, Flexi sucks beyond measure. They take your money every month and do minimal updates to make their program actually work. You would hope that the software would be intuitive enough to save a pdf with the cutlines included, but alas that is not the case.

Is there a workaround for this? Maybe a small little box I am not checking? I am trying to get everything off of flexi as I cant stand their program anymore but in the meantime I need to figure this out.

SAi stopped fully supporting their software and rely on their forums to have users help each other. This has been going on for years. They don't even train people, but use third party businesses that are run by ex-employees for teaching end users how to use their software.

If you put a CutContour line in your artwork and exported the art as a PDF, then it has the cutline in it. Change the color of the line when you create to Fuschia or Lime Green so you can see it if you open it in Adobe Illustrator. Make sure when you save in AI that you do as a High Quality Print. AI is not as easy to design in as Flexi, but it's more accessible in other programs.
Open your file as NEW JOB in Program Manager to direct print.

When you export as pdf there is a box that you need to uncheck. I think it says “suppress options”. When you uncheck it and save it brings up another dialogue box that has the option to include cut lines in the export.

I’ve been using Flexi for 25+ years.
Select the design, add a contour cut and export it as EPS file. I rip from Versaworks.

Flexi is great. Never had an issue.
