How do I upgrade firmware?

I have managed to go onto the Mutoh site and download the latest firmware V2.00 files but I cannot download the Mutoh Maintenance Engineer programme.
So I need help with this?

I am sitting at V 1.09 on my VJ1604 so it needs sorting.

I have downloaded the valuejet status monitor in hope of upgrading firmware from this but I can't get it to recognise my internet connection or find my printer.
Any help would be welcome.
