Question How do you prepare your install crew for an install?

A simple form for every job with some basic info:
Customer name/location/job number
Name and number of the on-site contact
Copy of design/install instructions
Any relevant survey info

When I was an installer I found it helpful that my company always added a second page to our install paperwork that was a blank graph paper sheet. I would use it to make notes of what happened if I couldn’t install parts of the job, names of people that signs were left with onsite or any information about things that may have changed since the site was surveyed. The graph paper was to draw if needed and make updated survey measurements. That way you don’t have to rely on your installers memory. That paper was scanned into the computer for later reference if needed.

Make a place for the customer to sign when the job is complete or if parts were left onsite. That way they can’t say they never received it ( which happens all the time…)
