Hello,
Our printer recently started making loud signs when the print head is moving across the carriage. The print quality is not effected, but I am afraid of doing permanent damage to the printer continuing to use it this way. The only thing I can think of is that the pulley belt is loose because it is easily moved up and down on the gripper wheel. I can see where the belt can be tightened, but I can't get to it without taking off the right side cover (as far as I know). When I tried to do so, the only thing that appears to be holding it on after the screws are removed is the orange wheel for clamping the media down. Anyone know how to remove this? I am sure it is easy, but I don't want to find out the hard way.
Thanks for Your Help,
Tom
