How to seam together two flex faces

Can you seam together two flex faces? I have to make a 16'x21' flex face and this is kind of a one off so I don't want to drop $15k on a roll. I wa0 thinking of wholesaling it out but was curious if I could seam it myself or is that better left to the professionals?

I don't know of any method for seaming.
I believe I have seen a seam in a roll, but I don't know how they do it.

If it was backlit, wouldn't it show up ??

Well, Indy Imaging can seam once it gets larger than 192". I thought maybe there was a way to do it but I'm assuming not without some experience because of the tension that is on those faces.
