Hi - I have a small bumper sticker business and have been using buildasign to print my stickers, but now thinking about buying a used HP DesignJet 2500CP Dye or UV (36") Inkjet Plotter to print the stickers on demand myself. Any one been down this road and be willing to share their experience.
Also how long would these stickers last outside with and without laminating. Thanks in advance Tim

I have a 3000cp. Unless you are getting it for dirt cheap then forget it. Ink is crazy expensive.. I would pay someone to take mine from me.

We have a old graphtec signjet pro2 which has the hp 2500 printer built in.
This was marketed as a sign making machine but was far from it.
It used expensive inks and print media also if you wanted it to last longer than an hour you had to laminate it.
I personally would avoid it as the only reason we still use it as a plotter.
Find yourself a cheap solvent machine and laminator the HP 2500 is a waste of space.
