HP FB500 or FB750 Surge Protection

Hello Everyone.
Just wondering if anyone out there with a Scitec HP FB500 or FB750 has any type of Surge protection or Battery Back up for the Main Power (Not the ink pumps) set up?

Does HP recommend this and if so what should I be looking for and what is available out there?

The back story to this.
6 months ago our local Hydro company had a Phase meltdown on a transformer for our plaza. This cause multiple surges of power to every power outlet in our shop. This resulted in the FB500 not starting up correctly and causing all kinds of damage to unit... I wont go into detail.
It was all repaired and covered under insurance but now they require me to install a surge protection.

Anyone???

you will want to call a standard electrician and they can install it. Not all of them have heard of them. google "square d whole house surge protector"

The install guide specs one...its like 12k....almost more than you can buy a used one for...
